Dr Salam is in her final year of GP training under the St George’s GP training scheme.

She is interested in all aspects of medicine and has gained a wide range of hospital experience, including emergency medicine, acute medicine, diabetes and endocrinology, general surgery, urology, geriatrics and dermatology. She particularly valued her time in obstetrics & gynaecology, and paediatrics. This breadth of experience is one of the reasons she has chosen general practice, where she appreciates the variety and, most importantly, the continuity of care.

Outside of work, Dr Salam loves being a mum to her toddler, spending time with family and friends, travelling and relaxing with a good spa visit. She lives locally with her husband, toddler, and their sweet cocker spaniel.
