Atheldene Regeneration Project

We are at early stages Atheldene Regenerating Project which will be delivering larger, cutting-edge, NHS Health Centre, Pharmacy and brand-new homes whilst improving local amenities by creating additional car parking spaces, cycle storage and public recreational space.

Since beginning the project we have demolished the Nursery (Phase 1A) and substantial parts of Sherwood Lodge and Wilna Road buildings (Phase 1B & C) with the aim to finish in March. Over the next few weeks and months, we will be carrying out associated groundworks whilst setting up tower cranes and readying the site for above-the-ground works, starting with Block C & H, comprising of 26 brand new, affordable apartments and 4 houses, followed by Block A & B before long.

While the works are ongoing there could be some disturbance, however, we will use specialist equipment, advance planning and maintenance regime to keep these to minimum.

We’d like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience or disruption this may cause.

Site Communication

In our capacity as a Community Contractor, we understand that working closely with residents & stakeholders is important.

We will minimise disruption and ensure that the site is operated in a Safe manner, with controlled deliveries and movement of plant and machinery.

We will use best endeavours to try and limit the amount of disruption to all whilst the works are in progress.

We will be providing further updates as the project continues via regular Newsletters.
